The subject of the "Confederation" is promotion of the development of small, medium and large businesses, the business environment and business climate.

Socially useful activities aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and economic initiative of citizens.

Confederation's aims:

- Ensuring the protection of rights and representation of interests of its members in governmental and other bodies, international organizations;

- Development of social partnership system, dialogue between business, government and society, promotion of economic reforms aimed at improving efficiency of economic activities of economic entities, achievement of sustainable economic growth, production, trade, services, etc., stimulation of citizens’ economic initiatives;

- Development of corporate social responsibility, promotion and introduction of high ethical and professional qualities among the participants and actors;

- Promotion of regional sectoral business;

- Promoting the development of regional and sectoral business associations, associations of industrialists and entrepreneurs, etc;

- Establishment and development of economic integration, subcontracting and industrial cooperation;

- Promotion of the development of business infrastructure and investment activity;

- Promotion of foreign investment, microfinancing, development of the banking sector;

- Promotion of the development of farms, business, craft activities and subjects of agro-eco-tourism;

- Organization of interaction and mutual assistance between the regional and sectoral business support structures;

- Development of interregional relations and integration of entrepreneurship in Belarus in the world economic system;

- Assistance in the coordination of activities of public associations, unions, foundations and other support and business development organizations, as well as innovative structures to achieve their statutory goals and objectives.

Confederation's objectives:

- Establishment of the republican business network;

- Promotion of regional and sectoral business associations, consolidation of business community;

- Promotion and development of material, institutional, legal conditions of business activity, establishment of business support infrastructure in various legal and industry forms;

- Employment promotion, job creation, rise of living standards;

- Promoting the prestige of business, formation of economic thinking, efficiency, enterprise and stimulation of initiative.

The confederation uses the following methods to achieve its aims:

- systematic participation in the activity aimed at improving the legislation for protection of property and owners` rights, fair taxation system and creation of legal environment for development of economic activity;

- to create advisory, coordination and expert committees, councils, analytical groups, professional business clubs, leagues, guilds and other associations;

- to hold mutual events: “round tables”, conferences, business meetings, exhibitions and fairs, forums, trade and economic missions etc;

- entrepreneurship activity propaganda, rendering organizational, science-methodology and information assistance to companies' founders and managers, entrepreneurs in implementation of entrepreneurial and other kinds of professional and management activity;

- to promote design and introduction of innovation technologies, development of innovative infrastructure and innovative nature of economic growth;

- analysis, synthesis and dissemination of successful business experience;

- organization of the exchange of experience among companies' founders and managers and entrepreneurs.

- organization of educational and outreach activities aimed at informing the subjects of entrepreneurship on economic, civil, tax, administrative and other issues relating to the conduct of business. Participation in collective bargaining regulation of social labor relations, in resolution of labor disputes, in activities of social partnership bodies;

- representation and protection of interests of legal entities and entrepreneurs in legislative, executive and judiciary institutions;

- organization and conduct of public expertise of legislative and other acts;

- implementation of economic activities in the manner prescribed by law;

- implementation of publishing activities in the manner prescribed by law;

- conduct of other activities that do not contradict the legislation of Belarus and related to implementation of the provisions of this Charter.
