Priority directions of the Confederation for 2009-2012.

I Strengthening the business climate and business environment in the Republic of Belarus;

II Strengthening the potential of business associations, service organizations and business support infrastructure;

III Improving the information maintenance system of the members' activities of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship";

IV Building a positive image of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Belarus, focusing on the positive role of entrepreneurship in society and the state;

V Participating in the development of civil society in Belarus:

- ensuring the perception of business associations as active members of civil society in Belarus;

- strengthening the functions of Advocacy (protection of rights and representation of interests of entrepreneurs and subjects of economic initiative);

VI Improving coordination and planning process of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship". Development of modern management framework.

VII Preparing a strategic development plan of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship" (as a national association representing the interests of a private sector of Belarusian economy and competitive market infrastructure) together with business associations and other members of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship".

Priority directions of the Confederation for 2009-2012.

I Strengthening the business climate and business environment in the Republic of Belarus via:

- The annual formation and promotion of Belarus National Business Platform;

- Active participation in solving regional problems of entrepreneurs, inclusion of key regional issues in the text of Belarus National Business Platform;

- Expanding the network of experts from the business community and improvement of coordination of their activities. Establishment of republican integrated network of experts under ALE "Republican Confederation of Business";

- Ensuring representation and constructive active participation in public advisory councils and working groups established by the authorities at national and local levels;

- Strengthening cooperation with representation missions, missions of international economic and expert organizations (IFC, World Bank, EBRD, EC, IMF, UN, CIS, etc.) and analytical centers in the country and abroad to examine the state of business environment, business climate in Belarus, investment attractiveness of Belarus and the competitiveness of national economy

- Maintaining working relationship with business associations of the EU, USA, CIS, etc. to obtain experience and information resources on the mechanisms and institutions of the development of business climate and business environment in different countries;

II Strengthening the potential of business associations, service organizations and business support infrastructure:

- Development of a membership base of business associations;

- Systematization of interaction with the authorities;

- Exchange of experience among the members of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship" on the issues of provision of services, strengthening and increasing the representativeness and consequence;

- Development of communication and interaction with other associations of entrepreneurs and industrialists in various areas of joint interest;

- Strengthening personnel and material base of members of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship";

- Promoting business of members of regional business associations and ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship". Formulating business programs and projects of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship". Creating a sustainable business network of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship"

III Improving information maintenance system of the members' activities of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship”

This requires:

- Improving quality of information to ensure the activity of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship” and its members;

- Coordination of information activities in the presentation and evaluation of the problems of business community among the members of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship”, making proposals to the authorities to address these problems;

- The active participation of the members of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship” in the provision of relevant information on the activities for the business community, members of ALE "Republic Confederation of Entrepreneurship” and business associations;

Active use of the publications as established by the members of the association:

- Newspaper “Association of Entrepreneurs”

- Electronic bulletin "Announcement of business events"

- "Business Navigator"

- "Crisis management"

- "Prices and products today", and others

Expand the range of partners media. Establishment of press centers and correspondent points in each region, database of journalists, illustrating the problems of enterprise development.

Enhancing exchange of information on business developments in the regions of Belarus, in the country and abroad. Expanding business information network, electronic databases for targeted distribution of information.
